Last February, a film production company owning the rights to the Dawn of the Dead film, filed a lawsuit against Capcom alleging that their game Dead Rising was an unauthorized remake of the film. Capcom has finally won the lawsuit, though it took a lot longer than common sense would've dictated.

SnagWire: EA has shut down its mysterious Blueprint Division though not the projects that were being worked on.

Apparently, work is already underway on the sequel to the spring's innovative Wii puzzle game that received critical acclaim and generated decent revenue after being briefly considered a sales flop.

If and when a full-fledged Nintendo online community becomes available, it will be "unique to Nintendo," Reggie said.

While the Wii might not actually be gathering dust these days, its online effort is, with Friend Codes and spotty support from third parties being the major culprits. That could change however, as Nintendo head honcho Reggie Fils-Aime promised Tuesday that some kind of online community is coming soon from Nintendo.
